According to Ahmad Zamzami, an Officer of Public Communication for Kemenkominfo, his party socialized information to the public regarding the termination of analog television broadcasts or Analog Switch Off (ASO) starting on October 5, 2022, in Greater Jakarta. TV broadcasters would switch to digital TV broadcast systems.
"Today, we provide information and socialization to the public to immediately switch to digital TV broadcasting," he said, Friday (9/30).

Puji (24), an expert of Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) admitted that she would soon switch the television signal in her house from analog to digital using STB after hearing the ministry's directions.
"Tomorrow, I will immediately buy an STB considering that analog TV will soon be discontinued," she admitted.
